CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
JUNE 27, 1994
The Special Regular Meeting of the City of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was
called to order by Vice Mayor Monroe at 5:30 P.M. in the Assembly Room of the
Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and
opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL The Assistant Deputy City Clerk called the roll and present were Vice Mayor
Monroe, Councilman Russo Councilman Jablin, and Councilwoman Furtado.
Mayor Clark arrived at 6:12 P.M.
ANNOUNCEMENTS Vice Mayor Monroe stated the announcements were as posted on the City's Bulletin
Boards.
ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
CITY MANAGER City Manager Bobbie Herakovich presented the Council with a proposed budget
schedule. Ms. Herakovich stated that she wanted to clarify that July 6 and July 11
at 7:00 p.m. was acceptable for budget workshop dates. Ms. Herakovich stated that
Lake Catherine ball field lighting (Capital Improvements) was on the agenda for
July 6 at 7.00 p.m., and because of the interest in this item, suggested to Vice
Mayor Monroe that public comments be accepted. Vice Mayor Monroe stated it
was appropriate to have public input provided that we recognize the amount of time
devoted to this item.
CITY ATTORNEY Vice Mayor Monroe stated that the next item was a report by the City Attorney.
City Attorney Tom Baird stated that Vice Mayor Monroe must announce that
Council will commence to a private attorney — client session pursuant to Section

286.011 Florida Statute. In response to Vice Mayor Monroe, Attorney Baird
announced the meeting would include all the Council Members, City Manager
Herakovich, City Attorney Baird, and Special Counsel Bob Moses, and the session
would take up to one hour. At the conclusion of the meeting the Council will
reconvene in Council Chambers for the conclusion of the Special Regular Meeting.
Vice Mayor Monroe recessed the meeting to a private attorney — client meeting at
5:54 P.M.
Mayor Clark announced the termination of the attorney — client session and
reryonvened the Special Regular Meeting at 6:39 P.M.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss, motion was made by Vice Mayor
Monroe to adjourn, seconded by Councilwoman Furtado. Unanimously approved,
thr, meeting was adjourned at 6:40 P.M.
