CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
JULY 151 1993
The Regular Meeting of the Local Planning Agency of the
City of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was called to order
by Mayor Russo at 7:33 P.M., in the Assembly Room of the
Municipal Complex, 10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach
Gardens, Florida; and opened with the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL The Deputy City Clerk called the roll and present were
Mayor Russo, Vice Mayor Monroe, Councilman Jablin, and
COMPREHENSIVE LAND
AftUSE AMENDMENT
Councilman Clark. Councilwoman Furtado was not in
attendance.
Kim Glas advised that the Planning & Zoning Commission
met and voted 7 to 1 to recommend approval of the
proposed amendment and further recommended the parkway
system be extended along the Beeline Highway. Ms. Glas
advised, that to make that change, the City would need to
amend the future land -use map and support documents.
PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Russo declared the Public Hearing open, which was
duly advertised on July 8, 1993, and held on the intent
of a recommendation to the City Council re: Consideration
of Transmittal of Amendments to the Comprehensive Land
Use Plan for the City of Palm Beach Gardens to Florida
Department of Community Affairs for their Determination
is of Compliance/ Consistency with Statutory Requirements re:

new zoning classifications of recently annexed lands.

Association, addressed the Local Planning Agency
requesting a blow -up map of this property since it abuts
Eastpointe's property. Mayor Russo advised there were no
land -use changes planned and Kim Glas advised the map was
in error and should be extended down to the Old Marsh
property line.
There being no further comments from the public, Mayor
Russo declared the Public Hearing closed.
Vice Mayor Monroe made a motion to recommend approval of
the transmittal of the Comprehensive Land Use Amendment
93 -2; seconded by Councilman Clark. The motion was
approved by a 4 -0, with Councilwoman Furtado absent.
Vice Mayor Monroe made a motion to approve the Minutes of
the Regular Meeting of the 5 -20 -93 Local Planning Agency;
seconded by Councilman Clark. The motion was approved by
a vote of 4 -0, with Councilwoman Furtado absent.
There being no further business to discuss, the meeting
was adjourned at 7:42 pm.
