GENERAL EMPLOYEES PENSION FUND
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
SEPTEMBER 16, 1993
11:00 AM
Attending: Win Weldon, Chairperson, Elinor Adams, Secretary, Judy Fox,
Jerry Bergman, Thomas Thomas, Board Members.
Meeting was called to order with introduction of Lee Dehner, Attorney and
Hal Chappell of PMA by Chairperson Win Weldon.
Amount in fund was discussed and Lee Dehner gave options on how to get
money out of Travelers.
The first acturial report is due December 6, 1993.
Hal Chappell suggested the board get Request for Proposal from Florida
Banks; Sun, Barnett, NCNB and Nations to be presented at October 4th
board meeting.
Lee gave a Travelers update on recommended ways to get plan money out.
The plan has been with Travelers for 20 years.
July is looking into Fiduciary Insurance and will report to board at next
meeting.
The board was advised by council that it is important for board to review
plan for errors or omissions in the current plan as a priority item for next
meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 1:10 PM.
