SPECIAL R£GUALR MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
OCTOBER 12, 1989
The Special Regular Meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida, was called to order by Mayor Martino at 8:00 P.M. in the Assembly
Room of the Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach
Gardens, Florida; and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL The Secretary called the roll, and present were: Mayor Martino, Vice
Mayor Aldred, Councilwoman Monroe, Councilman Kiselewski, and Councilman
Russo.
RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION 91,1989 The City Manager stated Resoltuion 91, 1989, is the employment contract
for those Public Works' employees that are members of the union. The City
Manager stated that the Police Officer's union contract allows for the
observance of Veterans Day as an official holiday, and requested that the
City Council approve this day off for all employees of the City, including
Public Works union members. Per a unanimous vote of the Citv Council
Veterans Day was added to the list of holidays to be observed by the City
employees.
Per a consensus of the City Council the Secretary read, by title only,
Resolution 91, 1989, authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an
Aareement between the City and The Service Employees International Union
for the 1y8911990 Fiscal Year.
Resolution 91, 2989, was unanimously adopted by the City Council.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at
8.10 P.M.
