The minutes of the Workshop Meeting and Regular Meeting of April 7, 1988, were unanimously approved as written. Resolution 34, 1988, was NOT approved by the City Council, with all 5 Councilrembers voting "nay ". a ° The City Council expressed concern that the Northern Palm Beach County ,later Control 7i5trict would be leasing office space while the District does not have to pay taxes on this property. Mr. Don Hearing of GSS & H Architects, authorized agent for Northern Palm Beach County Water Control District, addressed the City Council. Mr. Hearing stated the suggestions of the City Council from previous workshop meetings have been incorporated into the revised site plans. Per a unanimous v,,te of the City Council Resolution 35, 1988, was post- pored to a later meeting, and requested the City Clerk schedule this Resolution for a workshop meeting. Resolution 35, 1988, appointing Councilman Dick Aldred a member of the South Florida Water Management District's Policy Steering Committee, formulated for the purpose of making recommendations to the District 9 Im the restoration and pr&ertion of the Loxahatchee River /Slough Corridor. Resolution 36, 1988, was unanimously approved by the City Council. Per a concensus of the City Council the City Clerk read, by title only, Rr� solution 37, 1988, opposing the County's proposed Health Care Taxing , ,trim i��li, Resolution 37, 1983. was unanimously approved by the City Council. Council directed the City Clerk to submit a copy of this Resolution to ail municipalities in Palm Beach County. e : Per a concensus of the City Council the City Clerk read, by title only, Resolution 38, 1988, opposing establishment of site for 230 kilovolt transmission line corridor along PGA Boule,ard, west of the Florida Turnpike. Rcso'ution 38, 1988, was unanimously approved by the City Council. Ordinance 19, 1988, was unanimously adopted by the City Council.
