ORDINANCE 45, 1988 Mr. Lennart Lindahl, City Engineer, addressed the City Council re:

GREAT WESTERN BANK Mr. Lennart Lindahl, City Engineer, representing the petitioner stated he
has had discussions with the petitioner re: problems with ingress and
egress to this site, and requested this roject be reviewed at the
Workshop Meeting of the City Council on October 27, 1988.
RETAIL CENTER -
4.5 ACRES Mr. hank Skokowski of Urban Design Studic:, authorized agent for Sigma
Development, Inc., addressed the City Council re: creation of a PUD, with
land uses permitted being those as set forth in the CG -1 (General

was called to order by Mayor Feeney at 8:00 P.M. in the Assembly Roan of
the Municipal Complex, 10500 Noith Military Vail, Palm Beacn Gardens,
Florida; and opened with the Pledge of Allegtance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL
The Deputy City Clerk called the roll and present were: Mayor Feeney,
Vice Mayor Martino, Councilman Aldred and Councilwoman Monroe. Councilman
Kiselewski was not in attendance as he was out -of -town.

SAM CARSILLO
Mr. Sam Carsillo, resident of Palm Beach Gardens, addressed the City
Council with several concerns, including heliport at the hospital, bicycle
paths, city library, trucks on Military Trail and trains whistles.

The Workshop Meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida,
was called to order by Mayor Feeney at 8 :00 P.M. in the Assembly Room of
the Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida; and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

for further review and to set guidelines and standards.

Commercial} Zoning P:_trict of the Palm Beach Gardens Code. proposed to
consist of a two - story, 53,200 square foot retail center, including
restaurant use not to exceed 6,040 square feet, and be located on 4.5
acres, more or less, fronting on the south side of PGA Boulevard, east of
Fairchild Gardens Avenue, directly across from "The Gardens" re -tonal
shopping mall.
Mayor zeeney stated he was not in favor of any further retail /commercial
projects on the south side of PGA Boulevard. Counei;woeian Monroe stated
she would not be inclined to approve any change in zoning until the
Traffic Performance Standards were in place. Councilman Aldred and Vice
Mayor Martina both agreed this project should proceed, but felt additional
workshops would be needed.
Per a concensus of the City Council, the City Attorney was directed to
prepare the Ordinance for first reading, however, agreed that several
workshops would be needed following that step.
Mr. Frank DeFilippo addressed the City Council re: --.ending .7? -acre
"Garden Trail" multi- family PUD created 4/14188 by Ordinance 16, 1988, on
the west side of Military Trail, between Lilac Street and Holly Drive,
providing for single -car garages and fee - simple title townhouse fin lieu
of condominium) ownership.
Tt.c City Attorney was directed tr prepare the Ordinance for first reading.
The City Council stated this project would be workshopped at least once
between first and second readings.
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at
10:30 P.M.
