Rights Week +_ + The Citv Manager opened arc read the following bids received for a Police Department Data Processing System, including hardware and software: 1. DL1-111,1E Corporation, of Massachusetts $74,003.0, 2. Raymond Tichaut & Assoc. of Miami 548,000.e 3. Information Management Systems $76,666.00 4. Wang Laboratories $134,135.99 S. Chiefs, Inc. $83,798.00 P• -7r a unanimous vote of the City Council the bids were remanded to the City Manager an± Pol:c� Chief for their review and recoMendations. + + ri + '+ Mr. .;im Daniels of Palm Beach County School Board made a brief presen- tation to the City Council re: elementary and middle schools be located north of PGA Boulevard, between North Militar,• Trail and the Sunshine State Parkway. The City Council requested Mr. Daniels appear again before the City Council with maps showing exact locat,ons of _ o- po,, -�d %Oools and site plans. The City Manager presented the City Council with a pr000sed schedule for the Comprehensive Plan Update, and briFfly reviewed the i-es. It was the concenqus of the City Council to meet to sct down and formulate some of the qeneral objectives for this process. The City Manager will submit total drafts of what has been done to date to City Council members. The City Manager gave each member of the City Council a copy of a letter he prepared to Palm Beach County stating the City does not give It's consent for them to operate a utility in Palm Beach Gardens. The City Manager stated he has toured the canal system in Palm Beach Cardens as a result of a complaint from a resident at a previous meeting, and found them to be in satisfactory condition. r Mr. Don Hearing of GBS 8 H Architects addressed the City Council re: Nrrthern Palm Beach rounty Water Control District Administrat've Office tuolding PUD. proposed to be located on 2.5 acre Tract 4 of PGA National Cocmerce Park within southeast corner of the PGA National PCD. The City Council expressed their desire that there be uniformity of landscaping along Northlake Boulevard for all projects being built in the Cunmerce Park at PGA National, and requested the petitioner insure t"hls would hap- pen with this project. The Cfty Manager stated the petition was necessary because the petitioner still needed to obtain a "Certificate of Need" from the State. The City Council had no objections to the extension, however, requested the peti- tioner be in attendance at the next meeting and provide them with a letter from the State of Florida stating they havi r ^ceived a request for a "Certificate of Need ". ►: Ms. Michelle Lewis, General Manager of "Lindburgcr's" restaurant addressed the City Council re: modification to the "conditional :uses" in the CG -1 General Commercial Zoning District, providing for the retail salelservice of Deer and wine, for on- premise consumption at "Lindburger's restaurant, proposed to be located at 3850 -52 Northlake Boulevard within "Crossroads at Northlake" shopping center; and a variance to the distance requirement of 750' between alcoholic beverage vendors permitting the retail salelservice of weer and wine, for on- premise consumption, at the same location. irs.
