ROLL CALL The City Clerk called the roll, and present sere: Mayor Feeney, pi�nrili�^1Tan Monroe and Councilman KiseleWSk1. Vice Mayor MartiRO and Councilman Aldred were not present at this meeting as they were coaching at a girl's softball tournament. J ✓wL OF MINUTES _ The minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 18, 1987, were unanimously approved as amended. RESOLUTION 55, 1987 Per the conrirrnnCn of the City Council the City Clerk read, by title only, Resolution 55, 1987, approving the Re -Plat of the Plat approved 12118186 by Resolution 62, 1986, of "Preston Golfview" created 1116186 by Resolution 51, 1986, withfn the PGA National PCD. Resolution 55, 1987, was unanimously adopted by the City Council. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION SWEET BASIL Mr. John S. Thornton, authorized agent for Mr. F. F. Adams, Jr., addressed the City Council stating they were requesting a conditional use in the CG ­1 General Commercial Zoning District to permit the retail sale of beer and wine for off - premise consumption at "Sweet Basil" located at 2480 PGA Boulevard, Room 4, Palm Beach Gardens; as well as a variance to the oistance requirement of 750 `t-et between alcoholic tevEraoe venders, oer- mittino the retail sale of beer and wine for off - premise cor,sumction at "Sweet Basil" located at 2480 PGA Boulevard, Room 4, palm Beach Gardens, ® Florida. CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING, 712187 0 ADXUW%'kEN T APPROVAL 11 0 PACE 4 In response to a question from Cocncilman <iselewski, Mr. Thornton stated no alcoholic beveraues would be consumed on the premises, stating "Sweet 5aa.1" was a gourmet food gift store. The Council will consider adoption of this conditional use and the variance at their Regular Meeting of July 16, 1987.
