MARCH 13, 1986
The Special Regular Meeting (,f the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida, was called to order by Mayor Linda Monroe, at 8:00 P.M., in the
Assembly Room at the MuricipaI Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm
Beach Gardens, Florida; and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag.
ROLL CALL: The roll was called by the Deputy City Clerk and present were: Mayor
Linda Monroe, Vice Mayor Kiselewski, Councilman Martino, Councilman
Aldred and Councilman Feeney,
R ANi7_Ar1ON: ADMINISTER OATHS OF OFFICE
The City Attorney administered Oaths of Office to Dick Feeney and Linda
Monroe, candidates elected unopposed to the c:ity's Group 2 and Group 4
seats, respectively,
APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR OF THE CITY
Mayor Monroe, being appointed Temporary Chairperson, opened the floor to
nominations for Mayor of the City and oasspi the gavel to '✓,ce lfayot
Kiselewski. Mayor Monroe nominated Councilman Richard Aldred for Mayor.
By a unanimous vote of the Council, nominations for Mayor were closed.
Councilman Aldred way elected Mayor by a unanimous vote of the Council.
APPOINTMENT OF VICE MAYOR OF THE CITY
Mayor Munroe opened the floor to nominations for Vice Mayor of the City.
Vice -Mayor Kiselewski nominated Councilman Dick Feeney for Vice MaYnr,

closed. Councilman Dick Feeney was elected Vice Mayor unanimously by
the Council.
APPOINTJWNT OF TWO DEPUTY TREASURERS OF THE CITY
Mayor Monroe opened the floor to nominations for two Deputy Treasurers
of the City. By a unanimous vote of tha, Council, Councilperson Monroe

March 1987 Deputy Treasurers of the City.
APPOINTMENT OF A CHAIRMAN PRO -TEM OF THE CTTY IN THE ABSENCE OF SOTH THE
Mayor Monroe opened the floor to nominations for Chairman Pra --T,m nF the
City.
Councilman Aldred nominated Councilman Martino for Chairman Pro -Tem of
the City.
By o unanimous vote of the Council, ncminatiin, for Chairman p=ro -Teo
were closed.
Councilman Martino was appointed the City's March 11986 - varrh /7987
Chairman Pro -Tem by acclamation.

10. 1986 By the concurrence of the Council, the Deputy City Clerk read, in full,
Resolution 10, 1986, appointing Councilman Richard Aldred the Mayor and
Councilman Dick Feeney the vice Mayor of the City. RFSojution In, 19R4,
was unanimously adopted by the Council.
RESOLUTION lt, 1986 By the concurrence of the Council, the Deouty city Clark read, in full,
Resolution 11, 1986, appointing the Deputy Treasurers ano designating
