ROLL CALL: The roll wu— called by the City Clerk and present were: Mayor Monroe, Vice Mayor Kiselewski, and CounciA,nan Aldred. Councilman Martino and Councilman Feeney were not in attendancE.. City Manager John Orr and Attorney William Brant were also +n attendance. MINUTES: The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 19, 1985, were unanimously approved by the Council, as amended. ANN,UNCEMENTS: Mayo : Monroe announced that meetings of the City's Site Plan & Appearance Review Committee, Merit System Board, ano Recreat•lon Advisory Board will convene at 7 :30 P.M., on Tuesday, January 7, 1986. ITEMS BY THE CITY MANAGER: The City Manager proposed that at their Regular Meeting of January 16, 1986, the Council approve, by Resolution, a $20.00 increase in the City's resident/ non - resident junior /single /family tennis membership rates, effective February 1, 1986, to help defray some of the operation costs. This will be workshopped at the Council's Meeting of January 9, '986. Vice Mayor Kiselewski requested the Council be provided an expenses vf�rs<Js Is revenues report on our Municipal Swimming Pool. Vice Mayo: Kiselewski, member of the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority, VICE HAYOR reported or their meeting December 26th & 27th, 1985, in New York. They KISELEWSKI were aole to consumirate zhe $100 million bond issue, which refinances the initial bond issue, and will put enough money aside so that if the proposed Resource Recovery Facility does not go through, they'll have the finances In place to handle the waste for the County for the next 20+ years. In the meintim!, the aop:icant is to s„bmit data /modified plans per the dis- cussions at the current meeting, to include: further improved architectural elevations -or the rear of the plaza; compliance with the Standard Building/ Plumbing Code on public restroom facilities; comparative analysis on parking spaces, taking into consideration the total square footage of the proposed restaurants. DEDICATION OF Mr. Steve Tendrich, PGA National Project Manager, advised the Council they CITYACRE K IN "PGA are planning to have the dedication of the City's 36 -acre park in the south- east corner of the project in about three months. He requested the Council to select a name. ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION: Taking into consideration the absence of two Council members at the current meeting, the "Items For Discussion" included on the agenda (i.e., "Consolidating Planning h 7oning Cn- ,ission and Site flan & Appearance Review Comwmittee"; "Amending title of City's CPO - Commercial Professional Office District zoning classification "; and "Umbrella "Community Appearance Ordinance I'll) were postponed, until a future meeting. Petition of the Florida Public Utilities Company for an increase in its UTILITIF770. T - -- rates. The hearing will be held in the West Palm Beach Chambers, at 2:00 P.M., on February i2, 1986. Letter linvitation from the Lake Park Jaycees thanking the City for par- ticipating in the Christmas -lr -Dixie Parade and inviting the Council to attend the awards party on January 6, 1986 at 7:00 P.M. in the Crystal Ballroom at the Lake Park Town Hall.
