SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
SEPTEMBER 11, 1986
The Special Regular Meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida, was called to order by Mayor Aldred at 8:00 P.M., in the Assembly
Room at the Municipal Complex, 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach
Gardens, Florida; and opened with the PIedge of Allegiance to the FIag.
ROLL CALL The roll was called by the Deputy City Clerk and present were: Mayor
Aldred, Councilman Martino, Councilman Kiselewski and Councilwoman *nroe.
Vice Mayor Feeney was absent due to being out of town.

19a6 Mayor Aldred declared the Public Hearing open. The City Manager stated
that by law the City cannot have a budget hearing the same day or night
the County or School Board has a budget hearing. The normal first
reading of the budget ordinance would have been September 4, 1986,
however, the County had theirs on that date. He further stated the final
reading will bp Septemt19r 25, 1986.
It was the concensus of the Council that the Enhance 911 System could be
put in the budget at Budget Revision time and that the Council would Iike
the Police Chief and a representative from Southern Bell give a presen-
tation to the Council re: advantages of the Enhance 911 System.
There being no comments from the public, Mayor Aldred closed the Public
Hearing. The City Manager stated the City's 1986187 Fiscal Year General
Fund Budget is based on a property tax base of $931,426,100 with this
millage rate this year of 3.3900, which exceeds the roll back by 4.5 %.
The total budget dollars for the year has increased by 15 %. The total
