SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
DECEMBER 8, 1983
The Special Regular Meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens
was called to order by Mayor Aldred at 8:00 P.M., in the Assembly Room,
10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and was opened
with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL: The roll was called by the City Clerk and present were: Mayor Aldred,
Vice Mayor Kiedis, Councilman Martino, Councilwoman Monroe, and Councilman
Kiselewski. City Manager John Orr and Attorney William Brant were dlso
in attendance.
AWARDING/REJECTING BID RECEIVED DECEMBER 1, 1983, FOR PRESSURE CLEANING,
WATERPROOFING, REPAIRING MASONRY, AND PAINTING MUNICIPAL COMPLEX
The City Manager advised that the City receirt o „e bi- which was
from General Caulking and Coating, located in west Palm Beach in
the amount of $14,705. If the City grants the work, however, before
January 1, 1984, a 1.5% discount will be given, making the total $12,500.
Per the recommendation of the City Manager, a motion was made to
authorize the City Manager to expend $12,500 from the Council Contingency
Fund for the purpose of painting, waterproofing, cleaning and repairing
the Municipal Complex. The motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was ad3ourned at 8:10 P.M.
