HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 102881CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL REGULAR MEETING CITY OF PALL BEACH GARDENS OCTOBER 28, 1981 U,e Special Regular Meeting of the City Council of Pala Beach Gardens was called to order 'ay Mayor Kiedis at 7:30 P.M. in the Assembly Room, 10500 North Hilitary Traj-1, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ROLL CALL: The roll was called by the City Cleric and present were: Mayor Kiedis, Councilman Aldred, Councilwoman Monroe, and Councilman Kiselewski. RESOLUTIONS: 11ne City Manager reviewed With the Council the Service Employees inter- RESOLUTION 61 national Union employment agreement ratified by its members in the City's" 1951 Public Works Departrcnt for the 1981/lq�, -isca1 Year, highlighting those differences from last year's. By a unaninaas vote of the Council, the City Clerk read, in full, Resolution 61, 1931, authorizing the Triyor and City Clerk to execute an employment agreement between the Czty and the S.E.I.U. for the 1981/1982 Fiscal Year. RESODUTION 63 By a unviiinams vote of the Council, the City Clerk read, in full, 1 hl Resolution 63, 1981, recoavending to the Palen Beacb County Commission rejection of the request of Mr. George D. Mansfield (Petitia -1 #81 -193) for a special exception to the uses permitted in the CG- Ceneral Copmercial District, to provido for the sale, rental, and repair of autanobiles, including trucks, at PaLu Beach Motor Homes located on the southwest corner of Tnterstate -95 and Northlake Boulevard. Resolution 63, 1981 was unanimously adopted by the Caancil with the word "lane" inserted in the stead of the word "land" iii the heading and first 'V-tU F,AS" paragraphs, the verbia„- "a type of" inserted after the word "established" in the sixth 'WITIREAS" paragraph, and the spelling of the word "esthetics" in the third paragraph of Section I corrected, if found misspelled.
