The Regular fleeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens etas called
to order by Ilayor Samuel Laurie at 8:00 P.rl. in the Assembly Room, 10500
North Military trail, Palm Beach Garden;, Florida: and opened with the
Pledge of Allegiance ro the Flag.

RESOLUTION 15_ By a unanimous vote of the Coun, -i1, the City Clerk read in full Resolution
1980 _ J5, 1980, appointing a member to the City's Beautification and Environmental
Committee. Resolution 15, 1980 wa,; unanimously adopted by the ''ouncil with
the name "Jack Uhite" inserted in the black of Section 1.

By a unanimous vote of the Council, the City Clerk read on first reading

by title only, Ordinance 2, 1980, providing for the anneyation of a 7.71-

acre parcel of land located on the southwest corner of RCA Boulevard and
Prosperity farms Road within Section 8 -42 -43 with the zoning classification
of CN - Neighborhood Commercial. This Ordinance is based on the request of
Mr. Kieran Kilday, authorized agent for Mr. Charles; Lamn, Trustee, and will
be further discussed at the Workshop Meeting of Harch 27, 1980,

By a unanimous vote of the Council, the City Clerk read on first reading

by title only, Ordinance 3, 1980. providing for the rezoning of a 27.222 -
acre parcel of land located on the west side of Prosperity farms Read,
south or PGA Boulevard within Section 5 -42 -43 from RNH - Mobile Home District
LO RM - `tedium Density Residential District. This Ordinance is based on the
request of Mr. Hank Skokawskl, authorized agent, for Mr. David Hendel, and
ulll be further discussed at the Workshop Meeting of March 13, 1980.

By a unanimous vote of the Council, the Clerk read by title only, on

first reading, Ordinance 4, 1980. This Ordinance amends the City's Site
Plan and Apperance Revieu Code by clorafyirig as to what magnitude an
existing building, other than an single family horse, can be altered/improved
without the plsris being required to be submitted to the Committee For their
consideration of approval: and has beer submitted to the City's Building
Offlriad and the Site Plan and Appearance Review Committee for their perusal,
recommendations, prier to the Council's consideratinn of its adoption at
the Regular Meeting of April 3. 1980. Ordinance 4, 1980 will be work - hopped
by the Council at their meeting of March 27, 1980.

The City Manager was requested to contact the Palm Beach Junior College to

at their north campus on PGA Boulevard will be available for public use.

P. B. COUNTY Vice Mayor Kiedis acknowledged receipt of a communication from Mr. John C.

— —x430 - -bury, County Administrator, advising that at their meeting of February
26, 1980, the Board of County Commissioners officially received and filed
the City's Resolution 4, 1980, urging all governmental entities in Palm
Beach County to develop a cemprehcnsive mass transit program.
REPORTS: Vice Mayor Kiedis, Councilman Feeney, and Councilman Aldred reported on the
JOINT MEETING OF Joint meeting of the Council and Recreation Advisory Board that took place
RE1 AD -[iWD & on Wednesday, March 5, 1980. The topic of discussion was the City Community
CITY COUNCIL
Center that may be considered for a Special Referendum Election in the
future. The minutes of this meeting will be placed on file in the City
Clerk's office.
COUNCILMAN Councilman Aldred reported on the Energy Management Conference he and the
ALDRED City Manager attended on February 29, 1980. This conference was cosponsored
ENERGY MANAGE- by the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and held at the Jupiter
