FY 1980 -81 BUDGET MEETING
AUGUST 18, 1980
TIME AND PLACE: A Budget Meeting was held an Monday, August 18, 1980
in Te City Council Chambers of the City Hall. Called to Order: 7:35 P.M.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Richard Feeney, Vice Mayor Dick Aldred,
Counci Samuel Laurie, Councilwoman. Linda Monroe, City Manager John Orr,
and Public Works Director Leonard Devine.
DISCUSSION /RECOHgMATIONS:
1980 -81 Budget ReV) sts for the Public Works Department were discussed and
the following revisions approved by the City Council:
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
Account 34.10 "Uniform Rental"
REQUESTED: $7,976 COUNCIL APPROVED: $7,540
Account 34.70 "Trash Collection"
REQUESTED: $27,000 COUNCIL APPROVED: $24,000
Account 52.30 "Fuel and Lubricants"
REQUESTED: $87,787 COUNCIL APPROVED: $82,000
Account 60.00 "Capital Outlay"
REQUESTED: $15,500 COUNCIL APPROVED: $19,500
Account 64.10 "Motor Vehicles"
REQUESTED: $45,000 COUNCIL APPROVED: -0-
(To be moved to Capital Improvements Account)
Three (3) full -time personnel were approved and one part -tip person.
NEXT SCHEDUTPD BUDGET MEETING
General Government and Police Department Budgets were rescheduled for
liiesday, August 19, 1980 at 7:00 P.M.
Meeting adjourned at 11:15 P.M. 12
