FY 1980 --81 BUDGET MEETING
,AUGUST 25> 1980
TIME AND PLACE: A budget Meeting was held on Monday, August 25, 1980,
in the city C&ncil Chambers of the City Ball. Called to Order: 7:30 P.M.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Richard Feeney, Vice Mayor Dick Aldred,
Councilman anue urte, cilman John Kiedis, Councilwanan Linda Monroe,
and City Manager John Orr.
DISCUSSIONS /RECOR4MATIONS:
FEDERAL RE\fENUE SHWJNG:
1. Pao change in proposed use. However, one (1) additional Police Car was
added. Money to be taken from City Council Contingency Account #59.10.
2. The overlay of streets is to include the entrance of MacArthur Boulevard,
from the intersection of Northlake Boulevard, approximately two- tenths
of a mile north. Money to be taken from special account established
for Streets and Drainage.
3. Streets to be overlaid on Federal Revenues are as follows:
Honeysuckle Avenue
Plant Drive
Garden Boulevard
SALARIES
Salary increases for all city employees was set at 10 %. Some salaries
are still subject to additional consideration.
PROPOSED EXPENDITURES:
The Police Chief's request for $6,500 to be set aside to purchase a
Police Vehicle for his use was unanimously defeated. However, there
was some consideration given to exchange his vehicle if we can find
a replacement in the $3,000 range.

Public Hearing - Proposed Use of Revenue Sharing Funds, Thursday, Aug-
ust 28, 1980 at 7:30 P.M.
