Mr. Dick Feeney, Mayor
City of Palm Beach Gardens

Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410
Dear Mayor:
As you know, Palm Beach Junior College has begun construction
of the North Campus on PGA Boulevard. I am respectfully
requesting that either you or your designees meet with
representatives from Palm Beach Junior College to discuss a
joint venture in the building of a library on the junior
college campus, which would serve all of the citizens in
Palm Beach Gardens, as well as the students in our north area.
The Florida Legislature has an Educational Facilities Matching
Fund Act which will allow municipalities and educational
institutions to raise two thirds of the cost of a library, and
the state will fund the additional one third.
Please advise if we may have the opportunity of discussing this
with you or your designees.
