FY 1979 -80 BUDGET MEETING
AUGUST 22, 1979
TIME AND PLACE: A Budget Meeting was held on Wednesday, August 22, 1979
in the Center Office Section of the City Hall. Called to order, 7:45 P.M.
ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Mayor Samuel Laurie, Councilmen Dick Feeney and

lst 1Td —red. John L. Orr, City Manager, was also in attendance.
DISCUSSION /RECOMMENDATIONS:
1979 -80 Budget requests covering General Government, Capital Improvements
and the Use of Revenue Sharing Funds were discussed and the following
revisions were approved by the City Council:
GENERAL GOVERNMENT:
Account 34.20 = "Cooperating Municipalities" (Animal Control)
was deleted, reducing General Government by
the amount of $ 8,400.00
Account 23.10 T- "Health and Life Insurance" will be discussed at the
Budget' ee ing scrieduled for Thursday, August 30, 1979.
Capital Improvements and the Use of Revenue Sharing Funds will be
discussed at the scheduled Budget Meeting on Thursday, August 30, 1979.
NEXT SCHEDULED BUDGET MEETING:
Next Budget Meeting will be held on Thursday, August 23, 1979. Items to
be discussed: Salaries and Wages.
Meeting Adjourned approximately 10 P.M.
