FY 1979 -80 BUDGET MEETING
AUGUST 27, 1979
TIME AND PLACE:
A Budget Meeting was held on Monday, August 27, 1979, in the Council
Chambers of the City Hall.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mayor Samuel Laurie, Vice Mayor John Kiedis, and
Councttman Dick Aldred. John L. Orr, City Manager, was also in attendnance_
DISCUSSION /RECOMMENDATIONS:
1. City's Medical Insurance: Council approved the amount of $78,400
for Medical Insurance. This was the plan recommended and covers
Semi - Private Rate.
2. Street Lights: Council approved forty (40) additional street
lights to be located as follows: 25 in Plat 4; 15 in other areas.
3. Federal Revenue Funds:
The amount of $2,000 was approved for Grass in Median of
Holly Drive.
The amount of $2,000 was approved for "ongoing projects ".
The amount of $3,000 was approved for clay for ballfields
The amount of $6,000 was approved for a Fire Hose.
The above mentioned amounts are to be taken from Federal Revenue
Fund account, FY 1979 -80.
