AUGUST 14, 1978
PURPOSE:
A Workshop Meeting of the City Council to discuss the 1978 -79 General Fund
Budget for the City of Palm Beach Gardens was held in the office of the
Receptionist at the City Hall, 10500 North Military Trail, Palen Reach Gardens,
Florida, and was called to order at 7:45 P.M.
ROIL CALL:
Present: Vice Mayor Laurie, Councilman Martino, Councilman Aldred and
City Manager, John L. Orr. Also present, Director of Public Works,
Leonard Devine.
DISCUSSION AND RECCRnI NDATIONS:
The Public Works Department of the City of Palm Beach Gardens was the sole
Department discussed this meeting. The following changes were made to the
Public Works Departmental Budget:
12.10 - Salaries & Wages: Requested: $242,954 Approved: X244,386
13.10 - Part Time Employees: Requested: $3,000 Approved: -0-
34.70 - Trash Collection: Requested: $18,000 Approved: $15,000
34.80 - Other Conractual Services Requested: -0- Approved $750.00
37.10 - Seminar & Conference expense: Requested: $645 Approved: $540
44.20 - Rental of Equipment: Requested: $1,100 Approved: ,51,000
46.50 - Municipal Bldgs. & Grounds: Requested: $9,000 Approved: $8,000
52.30 - Fuel & Iubricants Requested: $38,535 Approved $36,4.15
52.50 - MRO Supplies: Requested: $19,100 Approved $18,500
52.80 - Agriculture Supplies: Requested: $8,000 Approved: $7,500
521.91 - Traffic Control Expense: Requested: $3,400 Approved: $2,700
52.92 - Janitorial Supplies: Requested: $3,100 Approved: $2,900
64.10 - Motor Vehicles: R equested $ 11,600 Approved: $3,300
