AUGUST 21, 1978
PURPOSE:
A Workshop Meeting of the City Council to discuss the 1978 -79
General Fund Budget for the City of Palm Beach Gardens was held
in the office of the Receptionist at the City Hall, 10500 North
Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and was called to
order at 7:45 P.M.
KOLL CALL:
Present: Vice Mayor Laurie, Councilman Martino, Councilman
Aldred, Mayor Kiedis, City Manager, John Orr and Police Chief,
William Edwards.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
The Police Department's proposed budget for the fiscal year
1978 -79 was the sole department discussed at this meeting.
The following changes were made:
Account 38.10, ------Education and Training:
Requested: $1,330 Approved: $1,000
Account 46.20 - Communication Repairs:
Requested: $3,000 Approved: $2,000
Accour.t,49.50 - Prisoners Expense:
Requested: $1,500 Approved: $1,000
Account 52.50 - MRO:
Requested: $1,350 Approved: $ 650
Account 52.94 - Uniforms and Leather Goods:
Requested $8,500 Approved: '4 7,500
Account 64.20 - Field Equipment:
Requested: $11,404 Approved: $ 9,328
