CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
OCTOBER 13, 1977
A Special Meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens was
convened at 9:01 P.M. in the Assembly Room, 10500 North Military
Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
ROLL CALL: Roll was called by the City Clerk and present were: Mayor Feeney,
Vice Mayor Laurie, Councilman Kiedis, Councilman Martino and
Councilman Ailey. Attorney Baldwin was present.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Special Meeting was stated by Mayor Feeney:
to consider Resolution #44, 1977 requesting the Department of
Community Affairs to include the City's application among those
requesting financial assistance from the Local Government
Comprehensive Planning Act Assistance Fund Program for 1977 -78,
and to meet the deadline for accepting applications, that could
not be held until the Regular Meeting of October 20, 1977, as
it must be postmarked by October 18, 1977, in order to comply
with the 50 -50 funding which is for the benefit of the citizens.
RESOLUTION #44, A motion was made, seconded and unanimously adopted to read
Resolution #44, 1977 in full, and that the Mayor be authorized
to sign the application form for the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning Assistance Program.
Resolution #44, 1977 requesting the Department of Community
Affairs to include the City's application among those requesting
financial assistance from the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning Act Assistance Fund Program for 1977 -78 was read in
full by the City Clerk. Resolution #44, 1977 was unanimously
adopted by the City Council.
