CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
MARCH 24, 1976
A Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order
by Vice Mayor DeLonga at 5:30 P.M. in the Assembly Room,
10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
ROLL CALL: Roll was called by the Secretary and present were: Vice
Mayor DeLonga, Councilman Feeney, Councilman Kiedis, and
Councilman Wiley. City Manager, John L. Orr, was in
attendance. Mayor Martino was absent due to a prior
committment.
,, PURPOSE: The Special Meeting was called for the purpose of opening
the absentee ballots and canvassing the votes of the
Run -Off Election held March 23, 1976.
CANVASS OF The Absentee Ballots had been checked on Election Day,
VOTES:
March 23, 1976, with the County Registration Books and
so marked as voting in the Run -Off Election.
Vice Mayor DeLonga acknowledged receipt of a communication
from Alice Jean Kerslake, City Clerk /Supervisor of Election,
stating the reasons why two of the six absentee ballots
received by her office were rejected as illegal.

City Manager, John L. Orr, called the following names:
Precinct 45 - Barbara Herrold; Precinct 47 - William
Perry, Dick Fuhrmann, Roger A. Rose.
The four Absentee Votes were marked on the Canvassing
Statement and on Resolution #14, 1976.
The Secretary certified that the votes outlined on
Resolution #14, 1976, declaring the results of the
Run -Off Election, correspond with those indicated on
the "Statement of Canvass of Voting Machines" certified
by the Election Officers and Clerk.
RESOLUTION #14, Resolution #14, 1976, declaring the results of the
Run -Off Election held March 23, 1976, was read in full
by the Secretary and unanimously adopted by the Council.
ADJOURNMENT No further business, the meeting adjourned at 5:45 P.M.,
