HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 080276BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS AUGUST 2, 1976 PURPOSE: A Workshop Meeting of the City Council to discuss the 1976 -77 General Fund Budget for the City of Palm Beach Gardens, was held at 7;30 P.M. in the office of the receptionist, 10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. ROLL CALL: Present were: Mayor Martino, Vice Mayor Feeney, Councilman Kiedis and Councilman Rossow and City Manager John L. Orr. Chief Arrants was present to discuss the Fire Department Budget. DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: 12 - FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCOUNT was discussed and reviewed and the following adjustments were made: ACCOUNT 12 -221 - CONi'BRENCE /MEETINGS /TRAVEL EXPENSE - a breakdown was requested from the Chief. ACCOUNT 12 -228 - COMMUNICATIONS EXPENSE - the category name was changed to COMMUNICATION REPAIRS and will be changed on all budget accounts. ACCOUNT 12 -229 - MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS - Reduced from $1,500.00 to $1,350.00. ACCOUNT 12 -303 - OPERATING SUPPLIES - This account was increased from $4,000.00 to $4,150.00. ACCOUNT 12 -491 - EDUCATION - Overhead Projections in the amount of $1,500.00 was reduced to $1,000.00. The new total for that account is $1,535.00. ACCOUNT 12 -503 - FIELD EQUIPMENT - Plectron Receivers in the amount Budget Workshop, August 2, 1976 Page 2 of $2,100.00 was reduced to $1,320.00. The new total for that account is $4,685.00. EXEIIBIT O1 - GENERAL GOVERNMENT was reviewed and no changes were made in the submitted budgetary figures. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 11:00 P.M. John L. Orr City Manager
