HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 081276BUDGET WORKSHOP MEETING CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS AUGUST 12, 1976 PURPOSE: A Workshop Meeting of the City Council to discuss the 1976 -77 General Fund Budget for the City of Palm Beach Gardens, was held at 7:50 P.M. in the office of the receptionist, 10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. ROLL CALL: Present were: Mayor Martino, vice Mayor Feeney, Councilman Laurie, Councilman Kiedis, City Manager John L. Orr, Leonard Devine, Director of Public Works, and Richard Cameron, Public works employee. Councilman Rossow was not in attendance. DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS: EXHIBIT 15 - PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT was discussed and reviewed and the following adjustments were made: ACCOUNT 15 =209 TRASH COLLECTION - Reduced from $11,050 to $7,050. ACCOUNT 15. -216 - UNIFORM RENTAL - Regular uniforms reduced to 22 @ $3.85 = $4,404.00. The new total for this account is $5,247.00 ACCOUNT 15 -221 - EXHIBIT AND CONFERENCE EXPENSE - Delete Hyacinth Control Convention in amount of $150.00. The new total for this account is $500.00 ACCOUNT 15 -304 - FUEL AND LUBRICANTS - 50,000 Gallons L .50 = $259000 The new total for this account is $31,785.
