CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
SEPTEMBER 2, 1975
PURPOSE: A Budget Workshop Meeting was held in the Assembly Room, 10500
North Military Trail, Palau Beach Gardens, Florida at 7:30 P.M.
to discuss the 1975 -76 General Fund Budget.
ROLL CALL: Present were: Mayor Martino, Vice Mayor DeLonga, Councilman Wiley,
Councilman Kiedis and Councilman Feeney and City Manager John L. Orr.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
The Council agreed to the proposed millage of 7.45 or a $.20/1000
increase over the 1974 -75 operating millage. The 7.45 will rate
should generate approximately the same tax dollar for the fiscal
year 1975 -76 as was generated during the 1974 -75 fiscal year.
The purchase of a new fire truck was discussed with the consensus
of the Council stating that additional information was needed prior to
making a final determination.
The recommendation for position upgrading was deferred to a future
date. Suggestion made that this item be reviewed by Merit System
Board before any action by Council.
