CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
MARCH 209 1974
11 The Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order by
Mayor Kiedis at 5:30 P.M. and held in the Assembly Roots at 10500 N.
Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The Meeting opened with
the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL: Roll was called by the City Clerk. Present were Councilman +vi.ley,
Councilman DeLonga, Councilman Martino, Vice Mayor Dunbar and mayor
Kiedis. Attorney Brant was present.
PURPOSE: The Special Meeting was called for the purpose of canvassing the
votes of the General and Special Referendum Election of March 19, 1974.
CANVASS OF The Abscmtee Ballots were checked with the County Registration Books
V
and so marked as voting in the General Election of 1974, County
'-� Registration Books.
Mayor Kiedis called the names of Thelma Compton, Robert it. Dukes,
Virginia C. Lothian, John L. Orr, Jr., Kenneth J. Turner, Fancy C.
Jewett, Susan Joyce, John C. Rose, Roger Alan Rose, Margaret Roth,
John P. Roth, Catherine S. Sanders, Charlene P. Smith and Samuel F.
Smith.
The fourteen Absentee Votes were marked on the Canvassing Statement
and on Resolution 05, 1974.
RESOLUTION Resolution #5, 1974 declaring the results of the C eneral Election and
#5#_-1974:
Special Referendum Election held on March 19, 1974 was read in full
by the City Clerk and unanimously adopted by the Council.
ADJOURNMENT: No further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:00 P.M.
