CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
AUGUST 29, 1974
PURPOSE: Following the adjournment of the Special Meeting of the City
Council held August 29, 1974 in the Assembly Room, 10500 N. Military
Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a Budget Workshop Meeting was
held to continue discussion on the 1974 -75 General Fund Budget for
the City.
Present were: Mayor Martino, Vice Mayor DeLonga, Councilman Kiedis,
Councilman Wiley and Councilman Feeney. Also present was City Manager
John L. Orr. The City Clerk and City Attorney were excused from the
Meeting.
Members of the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association, with
Angel Naya, President, as their spokesman, presented a list of items
to be considered in the 1974 -75 Budget.
DISCUSSION AND FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND: PROJECTS:
�— RECOMMENDATIONS:
Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association - $5,000.
EXHIBIT 01 - GENERAL GOVERNMENT:
Account 234 - Fire Hydrant Rental (Annual) - Add (*) Contingent based
on rental agreement.
Account 416 - Community Promotion - Delete the wording'north County'
before Drug Abuse.
Account 495 - Unemployment compensation - This account reduced to $5,837.
EXHIBIT 02 - CITY COUNCIL:
Account 226 - Travel - This account was reduced to 0.
Account 490 Other Current Charges - This account was reduced to 0.
EXHIBIT 04 - CITY MANAGER:
Account 103 - Salaries - Range and Step shall be 38 -M for City Manager.
EXHIBIT 08 - POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Account 103 - Salaries - Range and Step for Chief shall be 36 -M
Salary changed to $15,827. Longevity to be 634.

EMHBIT 15 - PUBLIC WORKS:
Account 103 - Salaries - Range and Step for Director shall be 34 -M
E)MBIT 12 - FIRE DEPARTMENT:
Account 103 - Salaries - Range and Step for Fire Chief shall be 30 -M
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting adjourned at 12 midnight.
