SPECIAL MEETING
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
MAY 24, 1973
The Special Meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor
Wiley at 8:00 P.M. in the Assembly Room, 10500 N. Military Trail,
Palm Beach Gardens and opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag.
ROLL CALL: Roll was called by the City Clerk and present were: Council*±
DeLonga, Councilman Martino, Vice Mayor Kiedis and Mayor Wiley.
Attorney William Brant was present. Councilman Dunbar was absent due
to illness.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Special Meeting was to adopt a Resolution and the
first reading of an Ordinance relative to the hiring of a City
Manager, there being no regular sleeting scheduled between the May
17th meeting and the June 7th meeting when the City Manager would
assume his duties.
RESOLUTION Resolution #26, 1973 appointing a City Manager and providing for a
#26t 1973:
Fidelity bond was read in full by the City Clerk inserting the
amount of $50,000.00 in Section 3, and was unanimously adopted by th
Council.
ORDINANCE Ordinance #13, 1973 establishing the annual salary of the City
#13t 9
Manager was read in full by the City Clerk, as amended, on first
reading.
ADJOURNMENT: No further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:13 P.M.
