HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 062272 SpecialPURPOSE: ROLL CALL: SPECIAL, MEETING CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS JUNE 22, 1972 Mayor Wiley called for a special meeting of the City Council to act on the appointment of a Judge for the Municipal Court session of June 27 because Judge Bie and the judges ad litem would not be able to attend. Councilman DeLonga, Councilman Dunbar and Vice Mayor Kiedis and Mayor Wiley were present. Attorney Brant and Mr. Carlson were present. A recommendation was made by Chief Pecht and the City Clerk to appoint Thomas L. Brown, who is the alternate Judge for the Town of Lake Park. Mayor Wiley stated that Mr. Brown was not known by him but since he is the Judge for the adjacent community he should be familiar with the circumstances in the City of Palm Beach Gardens. Motion by Vice Mayor Kiedis to appoint Thomas L. Brown to act as Municipal Judge on June 27, 1972 in the absence and disability of the City Judge. Seconded by Councilman DeLonga. Vote 4 ayes and 0 nays. No further business and motion for adjournment of the Special Meeting by Councilman DeLonga seconded by Councilman Dunbar. Time for the record 11 :06 P.M. Ma��ror W /a�lter�H.
