A Special Meeting was called by the City Council on Thursday,
August 24, 1972 at 10,500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens,
Florida, for the purpose of considering authorization of a service
contract to erect the lighting poles at the Plant Drive Ball Park,
a project of which time is of the essence, the next Regular Meeting
being two weeks away.
The meeting was called to order at 10 :36 P.M. by Mayor Wiley.
ROLL CALL:
Also present were Councilman Dunbar, Councilman DeLonga, Councilman
Bonner and Vice Mayor Kiedis, City Manager Robert Carlson and City
Attorney William Brant.
MOTION:
Motion made by Vice Mayor Kiedis, seconded by Councilman Bonner and
SERVICE CONTRACT
unanimously adopted that the City engage in a service contract with
WITH C.R. DUNN:
the low bidder, C. R. Dunn to complete the erection of the concrete
poles and the secondary wiring at the Plant Drive Ball field at a
cost of $8450.00. Funds to be taken from the Capital Account 01 -600.
Council directed City Manager Robert Carlson to call Mr. Dunn and
arrange the starting time for a week from this date.
ADJOURNMENT.
Meeting adjourned at 10:41 P.M. on a motion by Councilman Dunbar
seconded by Councilman DeLonga.
