CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
April 20, 1970
PT,EDGE Mayor Blanck opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance
by the Council and audience.
ROLL Roll was called by the City Clerk. Present were: Councilman
Prentiss, Councilman James, Councilman Wiley, Vice Mayor DeLonga
and Mayor Blanck. City Manager, Robert Carlson, Attorney Wm. Brant,
Architect, Eugene Lawrence attended.
SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Blanck stated the special meeting was called for the purpose
of considering Change Order #1, to the contract for the Municipal
Complex between the City of Palm Beach Gardens and Desrochers con-
struction Compare*. Meeting was held at 3704 Burns Road at 8:00 P.M.
CHANGE ORDER #1 Architect,Eugene Lawrence presented the Change Order to the Council and
advised them that this would be a saving to the City in making this
change on the clearing, grubbing, excavation and fill indicated on
Drawings #2 and #2 -A.
MOTION Motion by Councilman James to accept Change Order #1'of the Contract
for the Municipal Complex seconded by Councilman Prentiss. Vote
5 ayes and 0 nays.
Ground breaking ceremonies were scheduled to take place at 10 :00 A.M.
Saturday, April 25, 1970.
ADJOURNMENT No further business and meeting adjourned at 8:10 P.M. on a motion
by Councilman Wiley seconded by Vice Mayor DeLonga.
