CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
December 15, 1969
PURPOSE: A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Palm Beach
Gardens was called at 10:47 P.M. to consider Resolution #49,
Investment of City Funds... Special Meeting was necessary to invest
funds and receive the most interest possible for the City.
QUORUM: Vice Mayor Blanck instructed the City Clerk to call the roll.
Present were: Councilman Bonner, Councilman Prentiss and Council-
man Walker and Vice Mayor Blanck. Mr. Carlson, City Manager
and Attorney Brant were in attendance. Mayor Jewett was ill.
RESOLUTION #49 Motion by Councilman Walker, seconded by Councilman Prentiss to
read Resolution #49, for Investment of City Funds. Vote 4 ayes
and O nays. Vice Mayor Blanck instructed the City Clerk to
read Resolution #49. Read in full by the City Clerk. Motion to
adopt by Councilman Walker, seconded by Councilman Bonner. Mr.
Carlson reported that the Treasury Bills could be purchased at
no cost to the City 7a to 8 %. Approved by the Council on a vote
of 4 ayes and O nays.
ADJOURNMENT No further business and motion to adjourn by Councilman Walker,
seconded by Councilman Prentiss. Time for the record 11;00 P.M.
