ADJOURNMENT Art & Culture Group, Inc. v August 25, 2004 AIPP Advisory Board City of Palm Beach Gardens 10500 N. Military Trail Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 Re: Public Art for Lot 4 4750 East Park Drive NorthCorp Center art &cultural Dear AIPP Advisory Board members, In February 2003, John C. Bills Enterprises established an escrow in the amount progromming of $27,000 for the public art requirement for lot 4. The building construction was completed in the fall of 2003 and they were granted an extension for the art on design and this project which ends on September 29, 2004. As you will recall from previous workshops for this project, due to the budget consulting amount of $27,000 and certain site restrictions, John C. Bills Enterprises and I have been unable to locate a satisfactory work of art. Also shared in previous workshops is the fact that the building for lot 5, which is a "mirror building" of the completed building on lot 4, has been approved by the city. These two buildings share entrances off Riverside Drive and East Park Drive as well as parking and landscape amenities; the construction of which was completed with the building on lot 4. However, there are currently no plans to begin construction on the building for lot 5. At the last workshop on July 13, 2004,1 discussed with the AIPP Advisory Board the idea of combining the approved art fee of $27,000 for the lot 4 building with the expected future art fee for lot 5 building. This would give John C. Bills a larger budget to work with thus giving us a better chance to locate or commission a satisfactory work of art. In exchange, John C. Bills Enterprises would be given Lucy M.F. K/ rz a public art credit by the city that would go toward future construction on lot 5. 6518 WAing Joke D* The Board's positive response to the idea to combine budgets has resulted in John Jupiter, FW& 33458 C. Bills Enterprises desire to move forward with the following request. phone (561)143 -1505 fox (5611515-1402 M1: kYOQ@W*.com On behalf of John C.
