CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
SPECIAL MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL, May 4, 1966.
SPECIAL Upon the call of the Mayor, a special meeting of the City
MEETING
Council of Palm Beach Gardens was held at 9 :20 P.M., Wednesday,
May 4, 1966, in the Meridian Park Club House, Meridian Park,
Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
ROLL CALL The Mayor instructed the Clerk to read the Roll Call. All
Councilmen were present.
PURPOSE The purpose of the meeting was to open the sealed bids for the
purchase of a new truck for the Public Works Department, as per
specifications and Public Notice.
�= BIDS The three bids were opened by the Mayor and tabulated as
follows:
Wayne Akers Ford, Inc. 2757.31
John Matthews Ford,Inc. 2709.31
Benz Chevrolet,Inc. 12580-14
RECESS The meeting was recessed for 10 minutes at 9:25 PM at the
direction of Mayor Jackson to analyze the bids. Mayer Jackson
reconvened the meeting at 9:35 PM.
MOTION On motion by Councilman Bonner, seconded by Councilman Hughes
7�7`PROVAL that the bid from Benz Chevrolet, Inc. in the amount of $2580.14
be approved. During a discussion of the motion it was ascertained
by a representative of Benz Chevrolet that there would be a 15
day delivery time. The motion passed unanimously, 5 -0 in favor.
Motion was made by Councilman Dela Court, seconded by Councilman

MOTION TO Hughes, that the meeting be adjourned at 9:35 PM.
AUJUURN
WAIVER By his signature to these Minutes, each Councilman
hereby waives notice of this meeting.
