SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
December 5, 1966
SPECIAL MEETING Mayor Diamond called for a Special Meeting to be held at the City
Hail, 10128 Meridian Way, Meridian Park, Palm Beach Gardens, Flor-
ida, at 10:17 P.M., December 5, 1966. Mayor Diamond presided.

Mayor Diamond instructed the Clerk to call the roll. All Council-
men were present.
PURPOSE OF THE MEETING
The meeting was called for the purpose of opening sealed bids on
the 1967 Pickup Truck which had been advertised.
OPENING SEALED BIDS ON
The following bids were opened at the direction of the Mayor.
1967 PICKUP TRUCK
#1. John Matthews Ford, Inc.
Bid was received at 12:15 P.M., December 5, 1966. Price - $1,695.00.

Additional cost for four speed transmission is $60.80.
#2. Benz Chevrolet.
Bid was received at 3:10 P.M., December 1, 1966. Price - $1,869.94.
Additional cost for four speed transmission is $64.60. Delivery
date is 30 to 40 days after acceptance of the contract properly
executed.
#3. Roger Dgan Chevrolet.
Bid was received at 1:50 P.M., December 5, 1966. Price - $1,598.00.
Additional cost for four speed transmission is $64.60.
Mayor Diamond asked for a motion to accept the low bid of Roger
Dean Chevrolet. Motion by Councilman Hughes, seconded by Council-
man Earle, that the low bid of Roger Dean Chevrolet, including the
�.� four speed transmission, be accepted on the 1967 Pickup Truck if

all specifications were complied with. Vote was 4 -0 in favor of
the motion.
ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilman Hughes, seconded by Councilman Earle, that
the meeting be adjourned. Vote was 4 -0 in favor of the motion.
Mayor Diamond declared the meeting adjourned.
WAIVER
By his signature to these Minutes, each Councilman hereby waives
notice of this meeting.
