HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 110564CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL OF PALM BEACH GARDENS ACTING FOR ITSELF AND AS ZONING BOARD OF CITY, HELD ON NOVEMBER 5, 1964 A special meeting of the City Council, acting for itself and as the Zoning Board of the City, was held at 1001 Park Avenue, bake Park, Florida, on Thursday, November 5, 1964, at 10:00 o'clock A.M., in accordance with notice prepared by the City Clerk and published in the Palm Beach Post on October 6, October 13, October 20 and October 27, 1964. This meeting was called for the purpose of considering proposed Zoning Ordinance 1 -I, and arises out of petitions to rezone certain realty located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, from Zoning Classification "R -1" to Zoning Classification "R- 3. 1' UORUM: Vice Mayor Horace S. Miller called the meeting to order. The City .� Clerk called the roll of City Councilmen and announced that a quorum of the City Council was present. PROPOSED ZON- This meeting was called for the purpose of a public hearing and second ING ORDINANCE 1 -It REZONING reading on proposed Zoning Ordinance I -I, which was first introduced at OF CERTAIN LAND FROM ZONE R -1" the regular meeting of the City Council of May 11, 1964, as reconvened TO ZONE "R -3 "• on September 28, 1964. The City Clerk announced that he had received no objections, written or otherwise, to this proposed zoning change. PROPOSED ZON- After further consideration of the merits of this proposed rezoning, ING ORDINANCE -I; SECOND the City Council then read for the second and final time proposed Zoning READING ND ADOPTION: Ordinance 1 -I and, by unanimous vote, ordained that this Ordinance be enacted to take effect immediately. ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business to come before the City Council, Minutes of Special Meeting of City Council held on November 5, 1964 Page 2 upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, it was duly adjourned.
