SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
APRIL 1, 1963
SPECIAL MEETING: Upon call of the Mayor, a special meeting of the City Council
of Palm Beach Gardens was held at 10:00 o'clock A.M. on Monday, April 1,
1963, at the muncipal office of said City, 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park ,
Florida.
UORUM: The City Clerk announced that a quorum of the City Council was
present.
RIGHT -OF -WAY The Mayor advised the City Council that Royal American Industries,
DEED FROM ROYAL
AMERICAN Inc., a Delaware corporation duly licensed to do business in Florida, and
INDUSTRIES, INC:
the owner of certain realty in the City of Palm Beach Gardens, had offered
to dedicate a right -of -way for road and utility purposes. The description
of this proposed right -of -way is attached hereto and incorporated herein
as Exhibit "A ". The Council was presented with a right -of -way deed from
Royal American Industries, Inc.
After further discussion, the following resolution was duly made,
seconded and unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of PALM BEACH GARDENS, in
common council duly convened, does hereby accept that
certain dedication from Royal American Industries, Inc.
of a strip of land 60 feet in width located in the north-
east quarter of Section 18, Township 42 South, Range 43
East, City of Palm Beach Gardens, Palm Beach County,
Florida, for road purposes and for the construction and
maintenance of public utilities,
CONVEYANCE OF The Mayor advised the City Council that North Palm Beach Utilities,
PUBLIC UTILITIES
TO NORTH PALM Inc. was willing to accept a conveyance of the sewer and water utilities
BEACH UTILITIES
INC: system located in the aforementioned right -of -way, and that the Public Works
Department of the City of Palm Beach Gardens recommended this conveyance.
The Mayor also recommended this conveyance as being in the best interests of

After further discussion, the following resolution was duly made,
seconded and unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of PALM BEACH GARDENS,
in common council convened, that the water and sewer
utilities system, located upon, along and under that
certain right -of -way dedicated by Royal American
Industries, Inc. to the City of Palm Beach Gardens, be,
and the same is hereby, conveyed, released and quit-
claimed to North Palm Beach Utilities, Inc., a Florida
corporation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Horace S. Miller and William
L. Cargill, the Vice Mayor and City Clerk, respectively,
be, and the same are hereby, authorized and empowered to
execute any and all such deeds of conveyance, releases
and quit - claims.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
was duly adjourned.
By his signature to these minutes, each Councilman hereby waives
notice of this meeting and confirms his affirmative vote to the actions
recorded in these minutes.

easesent for road purposes and for the construction and maintenance of public
utilities) in the northeast quarter of Section 18, Township 42 South, Range 43
East, City of Palle Beach Gardens, Pals Beach County, Florida, being more

Beginning at a point in the northeasterly ortension of the northwesterly right
