( MINUTE'S OF THE CITY COUNCIL - XZDNESDAY - JANUARY 31, 1962'
The regular meeting, of the City Council was held at 1001
Park Avenue, Lase Park, .lorida, on Wednesday, January 31, 1962,
at 10:00 o'clock A. ti.
QUORUM: The City,Clerk announced that a quoru:a of the City Council
was present.
CHANGING The Vise Mayor, act: n.- as Mayor, advi sod the Council
STREET NAME
IN PALM BEACH that residents along Applecrest Drive in Palm Beach
SQUARE UNIT
4: Square, Unit No. 4, had presented a petition to the
City Council requesting that the name of their street be changed
back to Bamboo Drive. The petition is attached hereto and in-
corporated herein as Exhibit "A ". The Vice Layor stated that his
r office had made a complete study of this problem and recommended
that the request of the residents in Unit No. 4 be granted.

Council to ^hange the name of their street to Bamboo
Drive; an'.
WH7 -REAS The City .ounci l desires to effect that
change in accordance with the desires of the residents
on said street,
NOW, TgSREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED That the name of
that certain street in Unit No. 4, PALM BEACH SQUARE,
as recorded in Plat Book 27 at Page 15, Palm Beach
County Re.orts, Florida, located on the South at its
intrrse,:t.on with Osha Street and on the North at its
intersection with Crooks Street, be changed from Apple -
rest Drive to Bamboo Drive; and
sE IT FURTH3R RESOLVED That the name of that
certain street in Unit No. 4, Palm Beach Square, as
aforesaid, located on the South at its intersection with
Crooks Streit and on the North at its intersection with
the southerly extension of Applecrest Drive as shown on
the plat of Knit No. 5, PALM BEACH SQUARE, recorded in
Plat Book 270 at Page 45, Palm Beach County Records,
Florida, retain its present name of Applecrest Drive.
APPOINTMENT The Vice Layor, acting as Mayor, recommended that
