HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes Council 031962CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL - MONDAY, MARCH 19, 1962 The regular meeting of the City Council was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida, on Monday, March 19, 1962 at 10 :00 o'clock A. M. QUORUM: The City Clerk announced that a quorum of the City Council was present. MISDEMEANOR The Council then read for the second and final time misdemeanor ORDINANCE, SECOND Ordinance, tentatively designated, General Ordinance No. 9, introduced READING AND ADOPTION: at the meeting of February 19, 1962. There being no objection thereto, the Council then by unanimous vote ordained that this Ordinance be ratified and affirmed, to take effect from the date hereof. OFFICERS The Vice - Mayor, acting as Mayor, advised the Council that, in order to OF CITY COURT: enable the City Court of Palm Beach Gardens to operate efficiently and to preserve order and decorum during its sessions, it was advisable to appoint persons to the offices of Assistant Clerk of the City Court, BaRiff of the City Court, and Assistant Baliff of the City Court. WHEREUPON, upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, the following appointments were made: Lindsay Jarrell - Assistant Clerk of the City Court Lindsay Jarrell - Banff of the City Court Earl Strickland - Assistant Baliff of the City Court OATHS OF OFFICE The oaths of office of Lindsay Jarrell as Assistant Clerk, Lindsay Jarrell as Bailiff, and Earl Strickland as Assistant Bailiff are attached hereto.
