CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
MINUTES OF DEFERRED REGULAR MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL - MONDAY, JUNE 25, 1962
The deferred meeting of the City Council was held at 1001 Park Avenue,
Lake Park, Florida, on Monday, June 25, 1962, at 10:00 A. M. in accordance
with Notice of the time and place of hearing duly given.
QUORUM: The City Clerk announced that a quorum of the City Council was present.
CHANGING The Vice Mayor, acting as Mayor, advised the Council that the
STREET NAME
IN PALM BEACH majority of residents along Crooks Street in Palm Beach Square,
SQUARE:
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, had presented a petition to the City
Council requesting that the name of their street be changed, and that Mr. Steven
Schwaga, representing those residents, was present in person at this meeting.
The petition is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A ". The
Vice Mayor further stated that his office had made a complete study of this
problem and recommended that the name of Crooks Street be changed to Arbor Way.
Mr. Schwaga indicated that the residents would be satisfied with this change.
RESOLUTION Whereupon, the following Resolution was duly made, seconded and
CHANGING
CROOKS STREET unanimously adopted:
TO ARBOR WAY:
WHEREAS, a majority of the residents along Crooks Street in
Palm Beach Square, CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS, has petitioned the City Council
to change the name of their street; and
WHEREAS,the City Council desires to effect that change,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the name of that certain
street in Palm Beach Square, bounded on the West by Military Trail and on the
East by Keating Drive, be changed from Crooks Street to Arbor Way.

ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
