MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1962
The regular meeting of the City Council was held at 1001 Park Avenue,
Lake Park, Florida, on Friday, October 26, 1962, at 10 :00 o'clock A. M.
QUORUM: The City Clerk announced that a quorum of the City Council was present.
ORDINANCE The Council read for the second and final time Ordinance O -D,
OF INTENT
TO ANNEX; expressing the intention to annex to the City the Upthegrove, Froehlich and
ORDINANCE
O -D; SECOND Thompson Tracts, which Ordinance was first introduced at the meeting of
READING
AND October 24, 1962. There being no objection thereto, the Council then by
ENACTMENT:
unanimous vote ordained that this Ordinance be ratified and affirmed, to
take effect from the date hereof.
CITY CLERK The Council then advised the City Clerk to publish a notice of the
NOTICE OF enactment of this Ordinance in accordance with Chapter 171. 04, Florida

Statutes, 1961.
MUNICIPAL The Council then read for the second and final time the Municipal
CIGARETTE
TAX ORDI- Cigarette Tax Ordinance, tentatively designated General Ordinance No, 10,

GENERAL introduced at the meeting of October 24, 1962. There being no objection

NO. 10; thereto, the Council then by unanimous vote ordained that this Ordinance

READING be ratified and affirmed, to take effect from the date hereof.

ENACTMENT:
The Council then read for the second and final time the Ordinance
amending General Ordinance 2, Florida Model Traffic Ordinance
introduced at the meeting of October 24, 1962. There being no
objection thereto, the Council then by unanimous vote ordained that this
amending Ordinance be ratified and affirmed, to take effect from the
date hereof.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the meeting, it
was duly adjourned.

NOTICE OF ORDINANCE EXPRESSING INTENTION
TO ANNEX REALTY TO CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
STATE OF FLORIDA
CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
TO THE CITIZENS AND RESIDENTS OF PALM BEACH GARDENS:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE That on the 26th day of October, 1962, the
City Council of PALM BEACH GARDENS enacted Ordinance O -D, expressing
the intention to annex to the said City certain realty located in Sections 13, 14
and 16, Township 42 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, and
further stating that said annexation shall take place as soon after thirty (30)
days from date of enactment of said Ordinance as possible.
That said Ordinance O -D is on record at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park,
Florida, and may be examined for particulars thereat.
