MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 13, 1962
SPECIAL Upon call of the Vice Mayor, acting as Mayor, a special
_ MEETING_:
meeting of the City Council of Palm Beach Gardens was held at
10:00 o'clock A. M. on Thursday, December 13, 1962, at the
murecipal office of said City, 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park,
Florida.
_UORUM: The City Clerk announced that a quorum of the City
Council was present.
APPOINTMENT The Acting Mayor advised the Council that it was
OF POLICE
OFFICER: advisable to appoint an additional person as a Police Officer,
and that James P. Flora was well qualified for the position.
Whereupon, and after further discussion, the following
Resolution was duly made, seconded, and unanimously adopted:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
that James P. Flora be, and the same hereby is,
appointed as Police Officer of the City of Palm
Beach Gardens.
OATH OF The oath of office of James P. Flora as Police Officer
OFFICE:
of the City is attached hereto.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
WAIVER AND By his signature to these minutes, each Councilman hereby
RATIFICATION:
waives notice of this meeting and confirms his affirmative vote
to the actions recorded in these minutes.
