MEETING OF ThD' CITY COUNCIL ACTING FOR ITSELF AND
THE ZONING BOARD OF THE CITY
A meeting of the City Council acting for itself and the Zoning
Board of the City, was held at 1001 Park Avenue on the 8th day of
June, 1961 at 10:00 o'clock A. M. in accordance with a Notice of Hearr-
Ing on an Amendment of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map arising
out of a petition to rezone part of Zone "M" to Zone "R -111, and part
of Zone I'll" to Zone "C -2" .
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
QUORUM: The Clerk declared a quorum of the City Council to be present.

ZONING ORDI-
NANCE: �^ on a petition to amend the Zoning Ordinance and accompanying
Zoning Clap of the City of Palm Beach Gardens by amending part
of Zone "i2" described in the petition to Zone "R -1 ", and to amend another
part of Zone "M" to Zone "C -2 ", and to act upon second reading of an
Ordinance drawn in conformity with the petition.
The Clerk informed the Council that notice of the time and place
of the hearing had been given in accordance with the statute and law
in such cases provided, and that the Council, acting as a Zoning Board
had approved the same.
The Council then read for the second and final time the Ordinance
introduced at the meeting of April 18th.
After discussion of the said amendment of the Zoning-Ordinance re-
classifring a specified part of area zoned "M" to Zone "R-1" , and a
specified part of area zoned "M" to Zone "C -211, the Council by unanimous
vote ratified the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Map as amended and
enacted the same. This amendatory Ordinance to stand as Zoning
Ordinance 1 -C.

City of Palau Beach Gardens, Fl.c rides, in common council convened hereby
ordains and enacts:
Section 1. That General. Ordinance #l# known as the Zoning Ordinam o of
the City of Palm Beach Gardens, adopted August 23d, 1960, and accopanying
map thereto, and as amended, are -hereby further amended by changlft the classi-
fication from classification Zone " r to classification Zane "R-1" of land in
Palm Beach Gardens, County of Palau Beach. State of Floridat described as fol-
lows:

Section 2. That General Ordinance #1, known as the Zoning Ordinance of
the City Of Palm Beach Gardens, is hereby further amended by changing the classi-
fication from classification 'Zone "N." to classification Zone "C -2" of land in
Palm Beach gardens, County of Palm Beach, State of Flarida, described as:

Section 3. That the zoning map of the City of Palm Beach Gardens
as amr:nded, be, and the same in hereby further amended to refloat the
changes in classification describedila Sections l'and 2 hereof.
Section 44. '11-at any ordinance or parts of ordinances lasonsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance� shall take effect imediately.
