REGULAR 14MTING_OF THE CITY COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 15, 1961
The regular meeting of the City Council was held.at 1001 Park Avenue,
Lake Park, Florida,. September 15, 1961, at 10:00 o'_clock A. M.
The meeting was called to order by the Vice Mayor,-acting as Mayor.
UORUM It was announced by the Clerk that a quorum of the City Council was
present.
DEDICATION The Vice Mayor advised the Council that Bankers Life and Casualty
OF PLAT,
UNIT NO. 5, Company, an Illinois corporation duly authorized to do business
PALM BEACH
SQUARE in Florida, had filed with the City Clerk a Plat of UNIT N0. 5,
PALM BEACH SQUARE, CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS wherein certain lands
were dedicated to the City for streets, easements and expressed uses, a copy
of which Plat is incorporated herein by reference.
The Council examined said Plat, and it appearing that the same was
in accordance with the statutes of the State of Florida, and the Charter of the
City,
ACCEPTANCE Upon Resolution, second and unanimously adopted, Plat designated
AND APPROVAL,
OF PLAT, PALM BEACH SQUARE, UNIT NO. 5, City of PALM BEACH GARDENS, dedication
UNIT NO. 5
of certain lands in the City of PALM BEACH GARDENS, as provided therein
was accepted and approved.
Upon motion the meeting was adjourned.

PETITION TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE
BANKERS LIFE AND CASUALTY CCHPANY, an Illinois corporation
duly authorized to do business in Florida, respectfully shoes that
it is the owner of land in the City of PAIN BEACH GARIENS, Palm Beach
County, Florida, described as:
That portion of the South 640 feet of Section 7, Township 42
South, Range 43 East, lying West of the right of way of the
Florida East Coast Railroad and East of the right of way of
Riverside Drive (which, in turn, lies 260 feet East of the
right of way of the Thompson River).
Your petitioner respectfully requests that the Zoning Ordinance
and Map of the City be amended by changing the zone classification of
the above described parcel of realty, from classification Zone "0 & R"
to classification Zone "R -1 ".
