MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL - TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1961
The regular meeting of the City Council was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake
Park, Florida, on Tuesday, November 21, 1961 at 10 :00 o'clock A. M.
QUORUM: The Clerk announced that a quorum of the City Council was present.
PETITION TO Mr. Norman D. Rowland, Vice Mayor, acting as Mayor, advised the Council
ANNEX HUNGRY -
LAND TRACT that Bankers Life and Casualty Company had petitioned the City to a.nre x
TO CITY
a certain parcel of land owned by it and known as the Hungryland Tract to,
and incorporate the same within the territorial limits of, Palm Beach Gardens. A
copy of said petition and of the legal description of said land is attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
PETITION TO Mr. Rowland also advised the Council that American Airmotive Corporation
ANNEX ELIAS
TRACT TO CITY had petitioned the City to annex a certain parcel of land known as the
Elias Tract to, and incorporate the same within the territorial limits of, Palm Beach
Gardens. A copy of said petition and of the legal description of said land is attached
hereto as Exhibit "B" and incorporated herein by reference.
ORDINANCE 0 -C The acting Mayor further advised the Council that at his request
ANNEXING HUNGRY -
LAND AND ELIAS Municipal Counsel had prepared an Ordinance providing for the annexation
TRACTS TO CITY
of the aforesaid tracts of land, tentatively numbered Ordinance O -C.
Whereupon, and after further discussion, the Clerk read the proposed ordinance in
full for the first time.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further matters before the meeting the same was
adjourned.

The West one -half (W1 /2) of Section 3,, all of Section 10,
15, EXCEPTING the Southeast one quarter (S.E. 1/4) and the

line of said Section 10, a distance of 371.55 feet to a point; thence
N 010 57' 26" E, a distance of 530.9.89 feet to a point on the Southerly
right of way line of Monet Road; thence S 880 04' 34" E, along the said
Southerly right of way line of said Monet Road, a distance of 303.90 feet
to a point on'the East line of Section 10; thence S 010 14' 57" W, a distance
of 2640.41 feet to a point; thence S 010 12' 19" W, a distance of 2669.00
feet to a point of beginning; and
(2) A tract of land lying in Section 10, Township 42 South, Range 42 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Begin-
ning at a point lying S 010 14' 57" W, a distance of 30.01 feet and N 880
04' 34" W, a distance of 303.90 feet from the Northeast corner of said
