MEETING OF COUNCIL
A meeting was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida, at 10:00
o'clock on the 13th day of August, 1960.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
The Clerk declared a quorum of the City Council to be present.
AGREED-ENT FOR WATER LINE TC THE MPCSED RCA PLANT: The Nayor presented to the
Council the proposed agreement between the City of Palm Beach Gardens and
the Radio Ccrporation of America, whereby the City is to lay and construct
a water line and sewer line from the City's sewer and water treatment plant
to the proposed site of the new R.C.A. building upon certain terms and con-
ditions, and after reading, discussing and examining the terms of said agree-
ment, and there being no objection thereto the Council, upon motion duly
made and seconded, adopted the following resolution:
RESCLVED: That Herbert B. Thompson, mayor, execute said contract on
behalf of the City of i'alm Beach Gardens.

Gentlemen.
TY a City of PALM BEACH GA.MENS, by authority, of the City Counnil,
hereby agrees that the rater and serer rates charged to Pal=m Peach Sgnxre,
will not exceed those that prevail in the Village of North Palm Beach.
Should the Village of .forth Palm Beach exercise the right to buy
the sewer and rater plant, and then elect to provide water and serer ser-
vice at legs than cost, metro,-, the deficit from general tar_ation, the City
of PATZ PSACH CAMZNS could not bind itself to such a crit�-riW
1n sach event however, :he Git agzeos to provide services at not
more than the going rate elsewhere Ui the community.

America to provide mater and sewage facilities for a 185,'» square foot

somewhat remote.

vice to Palm Beach square, at the rate at which such services
are provided to residents of the Village of 7oeLh Palm Beach
by 'Forth, Palm Beach Utilities, Inc. If the Village of North
Palm Beach sbxll later acquire the facilities of North Palm
52ach Utilities, Inc., and elect to provide sever and water
services to its residents at less than cost, Lt is agreed
that the criterion for rates charged by the City of PALM
