A meeting was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida, at 10:00
o'clock on the 5th day of July, 1960.
The reeting was called to order by the Mayor.
The Clerk declared a quorum of the City Council to be present.
AGREEMENT TO COMPROMISE TAXES: The 'Mayor presented to the Council a proposed
agreement to compromise taxes between the City
of Palm Beacb Gardens and the Bankers Life and Casualty Company, an Illinois
corporation, and after reading, discussing, and examining said agreement,
and there being no objection thereto, the Council, upon motion duly made and
seconded, adopted the following resolution:
RESOLVED: That the City of Palm Beach Gardens accept the sum of $24,000.00
from Bankers Life and Casualty Company in compromise of said taxes
and that the :Mayor execute said agreement on behalf of the City.
The meeting was then adjourned.

1960, by and between RADIO CORPORATION OF AMRICA, a Delaware corporation,
hereinafter referred to as RCA, and TIM CITY OF PAM BRACH GUWM, a
municipal corporation, herein ter referred to as The City.

For and in consideration of the covenants herein contained and
other good and valuable considerations, RCA and The City agree as follevac %I
1. The City agrees to layy and construct a sixteen -inch water line
frog the Sewage and hater Treatamt Plant of The City along the right of way
of proposed State Road 9 to the extreme northerly boundary of proper�y being
Purchased by RCA, amid property being more partictil -- y described and
referred to on the attmcbed Addenda No. 1.
2. The City also shall 14gr and construct a fourteen -inch forced
j sewer line along the same right of way to the northerly limits of the
property of RCA behg purchased and above referred to, and shall construct any
necessary lift stations to service the sewage from the property of RCA to the
sewage disposal plant. The lift station shall not be on RCA property.

4. RCA agrees to pay to The City the am of Three Thousand, One
