MEETING OF COUNCIL
A meeting was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida, at
10 :00 o'clock A.'•°% or the 30th day of June, 1960.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
The Clerk declared a quorum of the City Council to be present.
APPROVAL OF THE FLORIDA STATE BOARD CF HEALTH FOR WA!rl!x PROTECT: The 1�hyor pre-
sented to the Council the approval of the Florida State Board of Health for
the extension of the City's water distribution to serve 57 single unit water
connections in Hilltop - Vest Addition, and upon motion duly made and second-
ed, the approval was accepted and ordered made a part of this meeting.
GIANT OF RIGHT -OF -WAY: The Mayor also presented to the Council a grant of right-
of -way from Hankers Life and Casualty Company d ated the 3d day of June, 1960,
conveying land to the City of Palm Beach Gardens described as 100 ft. wide
`. strip of land lying in Section 7, and Section 18, Township 42 South, Range 43
East, and Section 3.2, Township 42 South, Range 42 East, the center line of
which is described in said agreement of right -of -way, and the Council, upon
motion duly made and seconded accepted the same.
The meeting was then adjourned.

hereinafter called the grantor, to
THE CITY OF PALM BEACH GARDENS
a municipal corporation whose postoffice address is 800 - 10th Street, Lake
Park, Florida
hereinafter called the grantee:

and assigns of individuals, and the successors and assigns of
corporations)
WTTIESSETH: That the grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of

and other valuable considerations, receipt whereof is hereby acknow-
ledged, by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release,
convey and confirm unto the grantee, as a canal right -of -way, that certain
land situated in the CITY OF PALM BEACH GARMNS, Palm Beach County, Florida,
viz:
A 100 -foot wide strip of land lying in Section 7 and Section 18,
Township 42 South, Range 43 East, and in Section 12, Township
42 South, Range 42 East, the centerline of which is described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the north right -of -way of the County Canal
(Merrill Ditch), said point being 50 feet west of the intersection
of the North -South quarter-section line of Section 18, Township 42
South, Range 43 East, with the north right -of -way of said county
canal; (For convenience, the north right -of -way said county canal
is assumed as bearing east -west and all other bearings are relative
thereto);
Thence North 0018140" East 791.65 feet to the point of beginning of
a curve bearing to the left having a radius of 300 feet and a central
angle of 41009137 ";
Thence northerly and westerly along the an of said curve a distance
of 215.51 feet to the end of said curve;
Thence North 400501 57" West 510.19 feet to the point of beginning of
a cui =ra bearing to the right, having a radius of 1120 feet and a
central angle of 40038112 ";
Thence westerly and northerly along the are of said curve a distance of
794.35 feet to the end of said curva;
Thence North 0012145" West 120 feet to a point in the north line of
said Section 18 (which is also the south line of Section 7) Township
42 South, Range 43 East; said point bearing North 89047'15" East,
a distance of 1917.94 feet from the northwest corner of said
Section 18 (which is also the southwest corner of said Section 7).
Grant of Right-of-Way contd.
Thence continuing North 0012145" West in said Section 7, 492.74 feet to the
point of beginning of a cure bearing to the left having a radius of
1514.34feet and a central angle of 89035100";
Thence northerly and westerly along the arc of said curve a distance
of 2367.71 feet to the end of said ciuz ,
Thence North 89047t45" West 100 feet to a point in the wrest line of
said Section 7 (which is also the east line of Section 12, Township
42 South, Range 42East) said point bearing North 0012115" East, a
distance of 2010.00 feet from the southwest corner of said Section 7
(which is also the southeast corner of said Section 12);
Thence continuing westerly in said Section 12, North 89050145" 'nest
100 feet to a point; at this point the south border of this right -
of -way, being 50 feet southerly at right angles to the above des-
cribed center line, coincides with the north lira of the 30 -acre
Water and Sewage Treatment Plant site;
Thence continuing along said center line North 8905014511 West
1306.80 feet to a point, said point being the intersection of said
center line with the northerly prolongation of the westerly line
of said 30 -acre site;
The above - described right -of -way consisting of a total of 18.591
acres, of which 5.582 acres lies in said Sections 18; 7.484 acres
in said Section 7; and 5.525 acres in said Section 12.
IN WITNESS W'flEEfiE OF the grantor has caused these presents to be executed in
its name, and its corporate seal to be hereunto affixed, by its proper
officers thereunto duly authorized, the day and year first above written.
