SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND ZONING BOARD
A special meeting was held at 1001 Park Avenue, Lake Park, Florida,
on the easq( day of December, 1960, at 10:00 o'clock A.M.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor.
The Clerk declared a quorum of the City Council present.
ZONING The Zoning Board is composed of the same City Council.

The Petition of the BANKERS LIFE AND CASUALTY COMPANY for the re-
zoning of ten parcels of land described in Exhibit "A" attached there-
to came before the Council, and upon motion made and unanimously approved,
it was ordered that January Q?o�-?, 1961, at 10: 00 o'clock A. M., be set
for hearing of the petition; that -the Clerk give notice of the hearing and
publish the same in a paper of local circulation in said County, and that
notice by registered mail be sent to residents of the City in the areas
involved, and that a copy of the Notice be posted in three conspicuous
places in the community of PALM BEACH GARDENS; and further that Notice
be given for the purpose of ratifying the zoning map and ordinance, and
as amended. The proposed amendatory ordinance rezoning the parcels was
read a first time without objection. \ l\
The meeting thereupon adjourned.

CITY COUNCIL and MUNICIPALITY ZONING
BOARD.
PETITION TO AMEND ZONING ORDINANCE AND MAP
YOUR PETITIONER SHOWS:
1. On August 11, 1960, your Honorable Body, by ordinance duly
passed, annexed certain parcels of land to the City. Said lands are fully
describ ed in Exhibit "A" attachedt�ereto.
2. That by virtue of Section V, Sub - paragraph N, of the Zoning
Ordinance of your City, annexed areas are automatically zoned R -1, and that
_ Parcels 1 and 2, by annexation require amendment and incorporation in the
zoning map of said City.
3. That the parcels shown in Exhibit "A" should be zoned as fol-
lows in accordance with the zoning plan and zoning maps of•the CITY OF PALM
BEACH GARDENS;
Parcels 1, 2, Q, 5 and 6 should be zoned M.
Parcel 3, should be zoned C -2.
Parcels 7, 8 and 9 should be zoned R -2.
Parcel 10, is in the proper zone - R-1.
WHEREFORE, your Petitioner prays that the parcels of land described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto be rezoned and given their proper classification
and zone, and that the boundaries of the zoning map be amended to include Par-
cels 1 and 2.
That a date be set for the hearing hereof in accordance with the law
in such cases provided.
